We are Laia and Cristóbal, and since 2020, we have been working to ensure our guests make their stay a unique experience.
MontejaqueRural is our trade name, created to encompass our three accommodations: Los Trigos, Las Lajas, and La Damajuana.
Los Trigos
Rural house Los Trigos, which was the home of Iaia Rosa for over 25 years, was remodeled in 2020, marking the start of our journey in the rural rental world. Located next to the square, it has a terrace with wonderful views of the mountains, overlooking the entire village, where one can enjoy a beautiful sunset.
Las Lajas
Rural house Las Lajas was our first owned property, built by ourselves, where we spent six years of our life and experienced wonderful moments, such as the birth of our two daughters. This is why it holds a special place in our hearts. In early 2023, after moving out and making several improvements, this beautiful house, located in one of the most beautiful areas of the village, became our second rural accommodation.
La Damajuana
Rural house La Damajuana is an old refrigeration chamber built and excavated 70 years ago. After nearly two years of work, mostly done by ourselves with the help of family during free time, in the summer of 2023, the apartment for two with a bathtub finally became a reality. Its main qualities are relaxation and rest.
This journey has not been easy. Behind each accommodation, there is not just an investment, but also a great deal of work, effort, and dedication. That’s why one of our premises is… the small details make a difference. The best part isn’t just what has been achieved, but the projects and ideas that are yet to come…
